The construction of the Commitments for the Future involved a participative process with a wide-ranging exchange of information, experiences and visions for the future. It stemmed from the union of specialists and the most creative and inspiring minds in the Boticário Group.
The result is the creation of the platform #UmaBelezaDeFuturo (#BeautyForTheFuture): a transversal, collective initiative connected with the present and the future. It emanates from our purpose. It has the same energy as the things we do in the Boticário Group.
We present our 16 Commitments for the Future on two fronts:
The first has two inspiring commitments, that we want to achieve with disruptive actions and leadership to transform society’s relationship with waste.
The second comprises 14 strategic commitments organized in four pillars of activities: Neutralize environmental impact, Boost the conservation of biodiversity, Drive transparent beauty and Leverage diversity and inclusion.
We know what we want to achieve and are aware of the commitment we are making, especially because a major part of the path has yet to be drafted and depends on a large number of actors and factors over which we do not have complete control. But uncertainty is always part of the reality of those who, like us, do not want to do more of the same and are not content just to do what is correct.
The platform drives the Boticário Group’s purpose: create opportunities for beauty to transform people’s lives and, accordingly, the world around us, and invites all our value chain to act now!
